Based on the video game with the same name, a woman searches for her daughter in a seemingly abandoned town...aptly named "Silent Hill". This film, along with the game, is terrifying. You should definitely give it a watch!
I remember the trailer, I remember everyone telling me how scary and awesome it was, and I remember not believing anybody and never watching it. I guess I should watch it.
Sean Bean is wasted here, I really didn’t understand what his part in the movie was. Ramming home the point that there’s no escape from Silent Hill is pretty difficult when they’re constantly cutting to the outside world and removing tension! Better to stick with Rose’s perspective so we don’t know any more than she does. Fear of the unknown should be the priority in a horror movie.
I played this game when I was a much younger fellow. Game freaked me out! could not play it at night. but never did see the movie... think ill try it out!
